Salary

• Starting: $51,700
• 6 Months: $52,800
• 1 Year: $56,375

Shift

This is a Swing (afternoons/evenings) shift and the start times will vary between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. Evenings and weekends required. 

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains regular contact with all necessary parties to ensure successful event execution
• Completes various tasks to ensure effective operations, including planning for adequate C.R.E.W. members levels and managing payroll. Oversees scheduling to ensure C.R.E.W. members meets expected business levels
• Conducts daily inspection for quality of the cleaning and maintenance of all areas and equipment ensuring adherence to regulations, standards and policies
• Monitors daily operations to ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards, policies and procedures. Reviews and makes recommendations for changes or creation of policies or procedures as required
• Promotes and models the highest level of customer service, ensuring that C.R.E.W. members deliver a maximum level of service and customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained. Works quickly to resolve customer complaints
• Monitors daily operations to ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards, policies and procedures. Reviews and makes recommendations for changes or creation of policies or procedures as required
• Supervises C.R.E.W. members and manages the performance of individuals through ongoing coaching, feedback and development to motivate, engage and drive a high performing team
• Control all Liquor, wine and beer inventories, purchasing and storage
• Plan, schedule, organize varied types of Banquet functions from Plated Galas, Buffets, Corporate luncheons, group Coffee breaks and business breakfasts etc.
• Plan, schedule and organize concessions and bar service for all events in the Entertainment center

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a leadership position within the food and beverage industry.
• Banquet & beverage experience and product knowledge an asset.
• Knowledge and experience working with the Liquor License Act.
• Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset.
• Possess exceptional customer relations and communication skills.
• Proficient in Word and Excel coupled with good computer aptitude for scheduling and inventory systems.
• Able to work flexible hours including overnight, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Able to multi-task, prioritize and be well organized.
